MyBlogLog is a blogging directory or community, for want of  better description.  Through MyBlogLog you can connect with other bloggers in your niche and develop a community.

Whilst the ’social networking’ aspects of MyBlogLog are there, one of the advantages of MyBlogLog is that you can attract traffic by using the right tools and tactics.  These tatics are legal too!

The main advantage of listing with MyBlogLog, as with many other Blogging Directories, is the backlink from a high authority site to your site.  Of course, you have to do some work to make sure that link is worthwhile.

I was asked by a visitor to my blog today how they could get their picture on the comments (like mine). It’s very easy!

Become a member of my MyBlogLog Community, fix up your profile, upload your Avatar (or photo) and then any blog in the blogosphere that is part of the MyBlogLog world will display your avatar!

I have added a MyBlogLog Recent Visitors Widget towards the bottom of the right hand columns. As long as you are part of the MyBlogLog community, you’re avatar will be displayed.

Pretty cool huh! There is another benefit though to being a part of the MyBlogLog Community. Just like Social Networking, you can visit other blogs and comment on them, giving you backlinks from other related sites.
