A Podcast is the ability to take your content and syndicate it through web directories.  Perhaps the best know Podcast directory is ITunes, but there are others including Blubrry and Podcast Alley.  There are also a number of niche podcast directories.

By adding a Podcast to your blog, you are increasing the reach of your content to a far wider audience.
