MyBlogLog is a blogging directory or community, for want of  better description.  Through MyBlogLog you can connect with other bloggers in your niche and develop a community.

Whilst the ’social networking’ aspects of MyBlogLog are there, one of the advantages of MyBlogLog is that you can attract traffic by using the right tools and tactics.  These tatics are legal too!

The main advantage of listing with MyBlogLog, as with many other Blogging Directories, is the backlink from a high authority site to your site.  Of course, you have to do some work to make sure that link is worthwhile.

  2. How To Add a MyBlogLog Recent Readers Widget To Your Sidebar
  3. How To setup a blog on your MyBlogLog Account

How To, Lessons, May 2008, Members Only, October 2008, Wordpress October 4th, 2008

Wouldn’t it be great to have your targetted keywords or keyphrases for your the products and services you’re promoting, inserted automatically into your blog posts?

For instance, everytime I enter How To Videos Central, my blog system automatically inserts a link to my sales page for my interactive learning package.  Or, when I enter the term – free teleseminars – my teleseminars page on this blog is linked?

Well with the plugin that I demonstrate in this weeks Teleseminar, it is entirely possible!

Remember that my membership is open and will show you, step by step, how you can get your website up and running in no time flat and take the ’sting’ out the ‘tech stuff’. Check out How To Videos Central for all the details.

Teleseminar: How To Add Redirect Links Through Your Blog

Members Only, September 2008, Wordpress September 18th, 2008

When you are promoting someone elses products or services, generally as an affiliate, or you want to link to a site that has large and unwieldy URL, a redirect link using your own website address can be much friendlier.  There is also the fact that your affiliate link is hidden from view.

When you use a redirect link through your website address, you are not only branding your site, you are providing a user friendly address that should be easier to remember.  The question is how do you do that on a website, or a blog?

In this video, I demonstrate how to easily add a plug-in and set up redirect links through your blog.

If you find my teleseminars and videos helpful, you may find my training package even more so. Please visit How To Videos Central for more information.

By providing these widgets to your readers and giving them the ability to ‘pick it up’, you are increasing the opportunity to receive backlinks to your site and, as such, improve your Search Engine Rankings.

You can even use these tools to generate widgets that you can put on your sites, other blogs or social networks.
